From ancient rural houses to Aeolian property

Orizzonte Relais, typical Aeolian houses in Salina

From the origins of ancient rural houses dating back to the early nineteenth century, thanks to the passion of the owner, designers and executors, the Orizzonte Relais property was born, consisting of typical Aeolian houses in Salina.

Located halfway up the hill in the Municipality of Leni, the property consists of typical Aeolian houses surrounded by large covered and uncovered terraces and spacious gardens with flowers, citrus groves, olive groves and caper plants; a place where everything invites you to relax completely.
The property overlooks a unique and enchanting panorama like a balcony.
All the terraces have a wonderful view, as well as over the villages of Leni, Rinella and Valdichiesa, also towards the islands of Lipari and Vulcano. From here it is possible to admire the sea that reaches the Sicilian coast from the island coasts, at the center of which it is possible to admire the Etna volcano.
The property is immersed in an uncontaminated and vast area dominated by Monte Porri and Monte Felci, two large volcanoes inactive for millennia.

The ancient volcanic origin of the place is also given by the local stones that make up the characteristic dry terracing walls.

Our houses

The property consists of two-room and three-room houses, all with sea view, fully furnished with every comfort, such as TV, WiFi, air conditioning, household and bathroom linen, hairdryer, equipped kitchenette, terrace with patio and ample parking.

An exclusive place where you can daydream in the total embrace of unspoiled nature.

The surroundings

From the property it is possible to reach the other centers of the island such as Malfa and Santa Marina Salina or leave for the trekking routes on Monte Porri and Fossa delle Felci, from whose peaks you can see the other six islands of the Aeolian Archipelago.

In a few minutes it is possible to reach Rinella, a hamlet of Leni, originally a small fishing village that rises on a valley that leads directly to the sea. The coast is made up of caves carved into the rock and a suggestive beach with black sand. Rinella is one of the two stopovers on the island.
